Music licensing company for films

TV music licensing tips? What’s the Music Industry’s worst kept secret to generating high-margin income and breaking emerging artists? Well, having a wealth of industry contacts and resources certainly helps… But we’re actually talking about sync licensing! So what is sync licensing? A sync license/synchronisation refers to an agreement surrounding the use of recorded music in any product involving the simultaneous use of music and moving images. This includes, (you guessed it!) movies, tv shows, advertisements, video games and more! Getting a successful placement can come with huge exposure and can generate significant revenue through sync license fees and performance royalties.

Other places for great B2B (business-to-business – because don’t forget, this is the music business) marketing are LinkedIn, Twitter, and of course, Instagram. These social media channels can allow access to groups and influencers you can reach out to directly. If you want to be treated like a professional, you have to act like one. That means knowing who to reach out to, how to do that, what to include, and what not to do. (For instance, don’t attach your song directly to the email — no one likes that!)

How long is my license valid, and does it ever expire? Any license you purchase is valid in perpetuity. This means you can use it forever. Why are your agreements Non-Exclusive? It’s your music and you own it. You are free to shop your music anywhere, release the music on albums, use for collaborations, etc. You are also free to submit previously released songs from your catalog as long as there is no conflict with your existing label/distribution agreement. If you ever need exclusive rights to one of your songs, notify us and it will be removed from the catalog. Any existing agreements related to previous placements of the song will still be valid. Rhythm Couture artists questions and answers: What do you feel is the importance of music in today’s media, such as YouTube, television, film, etc? Music is a part of storytelling in films for almost a hundred years. The music style has changed so much after these years, but giving the emotional support for film is always the main role of film music. No matter from YouTube video to blockbuster movies, music is always a nice carrier to convey the emotions and subtexts. But in the meantime, music should not overtake the scene, the main character should always be the film itself, unless it’s on purpose. For production music, from my music editor experience, I think it’s important to have sections in your music, it’s much easier to edit with one track with several sections, instead of puzzling so many different tracks and trying to make them sound like a piece of music.
