Meditation courses advantages

Meditation courses tricks today, a trendy topic, and we will bring this up again as an amazing personal health course is starting in December 2019, i’m talking about Body Bedrock course.

One of the most interesting studies in the last few years, carried out at Yale University, found that mindfulness meditation decreases activity in the default mode network (DMN), the brain network responsible for mind-wandering and self-referential thoughts – a.k.a., “monkey mind.” The DMN is “on” or active when we’re not thinking about anything in particular, when our minds are just wandering from thought to thought. Since mind-wandering is typically associated with being less happy, ruminating, and worrying about the past and future, it’s the goal for many people to dial it down. Several studies have shown that meditation, through its quieting effect on the DMN, appears to do just this. And even when the mind does start to wander, because of the new connections that form, meditators are better at snapping back out of it.

Research indicates that the effects of meditation can be similar to antidepressant drugs. Pregnant women and new mothers, who are at risk of developing depressive disorders due to sudden hormonal flushes in the body, benefitted a lot when they practiced meditation and yoga training. The evidence clearly indicates that besides reducing mood fluctuations in new moms, meditation also helped them in developing a secure connection with the newborn (Dhillon, Sparks, and Duartes, 2017). From generalized anxiety disorders to phobia, panic disorders, obsession, and bipolar mood swings, daily meditation practice helps in regulating the unreasonable emotional ups and downs. Methods like Vipassana reduces the density of grey matter in brain areas that associate stress and anxiety and brings in overall emotional stability. Read more details on Heart centered learning.

Would you love to add razor-edge focus to your life? Research shows that meditation improves cognition and increases your ability to perform tasks requiring focus. One study tested a variety of different meditation types, including Transcendental Meditation, Vipassana, Tibetan Buddhist Meditation, Sufi Meditation and Hindu Meditation, and found that they all improve focus by varying degrees. I used to think coffee was the best way to get focused – now I just meditate.

I grew up obsessed with the study of mystics, saints, sages, enlightened masters, and nobel laureates. Reading about their visions, powers, and wisdom helped me feel more comfortable with my own intuition and ecstatic experiences. I balanced my etheric nature with lots of science and higher education and stayed grounded literally within my mother’s garden as a barefoot herbalist. I know myself as love and a force for healing transformation in our world. I practice heart centered consciousness to stay aligned with the guidance of my highest self. Healing and teaching are my gifts and I use them to honor the divine motherly energy of spirit (shakti) that nourishes our earth, our relationships, and our own evolution. I’m on a mission to rid our world of degenerative disease through preventative education and research for better natural therapies. Source: https://www.healingcircletm.com/.
